It's a Special Tim Gunn Quote Day

Tim Gunn Joe Kohen/WireImage.com

Tim Gunn is out talking to everyone today—well, except us (what’s up that, Tim?)—and he’s got plenty to say.

Let's start with Us Weekly: Tim likes Michelle Obama’s fashion choices over Cindy McCain’s. "She epitomizes class and American style. She looks approachable." Meanwhile, Cindy, "with her button-down suits and blouses—looks like she's duct-taped."

All right, now it’s People’s turn. Apparently, he disapproves of Katie Holmes’ pegged jeans. “I have to say, Katie Holmes has become so much more sophisticated in so many ways, but I think she’s in a dip right now. I can’t explain it.” We can explain it—it's an acquired taste, and after a slow gossip month, Katie's jeans are pretty exciting.

And what does he think about a certain Disney Channel star? You gotta jump first...

Terrence Howard on Songwriting, Stalking

Terrence Howard Zuma Press

"I wrote that song as a stalker. It was raining, and I was sitting there in front of the house, watching her come home from a date after we were divorced. I was imagining what she did on this date, and watching her giving him a kiss. I went home and wrote this song."

Terrence Howard, revealing to The New York Times: a) how he wrote the song "No. 1 Fan" from his new album; and b) just how creepy his songwriting process sounds.

Who was that hugging Shar Jackson in Las Vegas on Friday night?

Her ex, Kevin Federline.

Jackson got quite the surprise when she was celebrating her 32nd birthday inside the VIP room of Blush Boutique nightclub at the Wynn.

“A crowd came to see what all the commotion was and they found Shar and Kevin sharing some public affection,” an eyewitness reports. “Kevin showed up to wish her a happy birthday. They shared a very public embrace and kiss before Kevin left.”

So, have they rekindled a romance?

Adrian Gets Retro Ride; LiLo Goes Incognito

More from H'Wood Party Girl

Was it a full moon last night?

By the way celebs were acting at Crown Bar, something was definitely up.

Adrian Grenier departed the club in a bright-red vintage minivan. Not exactly eco-friendly—and definitely not stylish, either.

Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo made a more typical departure, leaving in a frenzy of flashbulbs.

But leave it to Lindsay Lohan to take the duck-and-cover approach literally...opting to hide under a pink blanket while Sam Ronson drove their getaway car.

What gives, guys?

Rumer Willis Becoming Relevant—Wait, What?

Rumer Willis Andrew H. Walker/Getty Images

It's been hard for Rumer Willis, aspiring actress, to try and break free from Demi Moore’s MILF shadow, Bruce Willis’ mega-action-star status and the Internet’s “potato head” cries.

But she finally has an actual film coming out this Friday. Yes, that movie is The House Bunny and no, we’re not seeing it, but it is still a movie coming out in real movie theatres.

She's also been looking darn cute while promoting it, like at last night's premiere. So cute, in fact, that Elle UK named her their new “style crush," which pairs nicely with the People's 100 Most Beautiful title she recently snagged.

Jennifer Love Hewitt Health Magazine Health Magazine
More from Marc Malkin

If Jennifer Love Hewitt wants people to stop scrutinizing her body, she may want to stop talking about it.

You see, just a few months ago, the Ghost Whisperer star was on the cover of People magazine insisting she loves her body just the way it is—curves and all—after she was snapped by the paparazzi with some extra junk in her trunk.

But then last week, she got herself an Us Weekly cover by bragging about losing 18 pounds in just 10 weeks.

And the body bandwagon rolls on. Keep reading to hear what she's saying now...

More from Marc Malkin

Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag may have called off their engagement, but the reality-star lovebirds are still talking babies.

They're looking to Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt for inspiration. "I think I'd rather adopt than have kids," Pratt said when I caught up with the two this morning. "There are so many kids that need homes."

A few minutes later, Pratt, 25, clarified that he doesn't just want to adopt. "I wanna do both," he explained. "We'll pull an Angelina and Brad and have a whole clan."

Montag, 21, cooed, "We'd be so lucky to have a clan like that."

And yes, that clan could include a child from Africa...

More from Marc Malkin

Who's that old-time musician making a cameo as Jesus in Luke Wilson's new flick, Henry Pool is Here?

Eagles rocker Glenn Frey—well, sorta.

Lemme explain: Without giving too much away, an image of Jesus on the side of a house plays an important part in the movie, but when Wilson first got a look at it, he didn't exactly see the son of God...

Kim Kardashian: I Love My Butt, but Enough Already

Kim Kardashian Gregg Deguire/WireImage.com

"At first I thought it was funny and flattering, but it's tiresome now. I've seen magazines where plastic surgeons are saying, 'If you want a butt like this it has to be fake,' and I'm just like, 'Dude, have you ever seen an Armenian girl before?' I love that I'm curvy, but I'm on this major kick to try and lose weight, especially in my butt. I'm just so over it! When you're posing on the red carpet and the paparazzi shout, 'Turn around! Turn around!'—it gets a little offensive."

More from Marc Malkin

Learning to speak a foreign language for a movie is one thing, but how about perfecting a made-up language from outer space?

Clifton Collins Jr. said that's exactly what he and Eric Bana had to do for J.J. Abrams' much-anticipated Star Trek movie.

“Me and Eric are the new Romulans,” Collins said of their space alien characters in the flick. "They had a linguist come in and invent Romulan!”

We caught up with Collins last night in downtown L.A. at a party for the limited-edition movie posters celebrity tattoo artist Mr. Cartoon has designed for the upcoming Robert De Niro and Al Pacino flick, Righteous Kill.
