Kristin Chenoweth's Reveals Her Crystal Method
Kristin Chenoweth singing about crystal meth, dirty sex and uncontrollable bowel movements?
It's not exactly what one expects from the perky Tony-winning actress and singer, but that's what she's doing in a new Funny or Die musical spoof of the very serious A&E series Intervention.
I just got off the phone with Ms. Chenoweth, so read on to get all the high hilarious details about her latest musical endeavor.
T.I. "Likes" Making Hot 100 History
House arrest has paid off big time for T.I.
The rapper, who recorded his forthcoming Paper Trail while confined to his Atlanta-area home, made chart history as his album single "Whatever You Like" rocketed 70 spots to No. 1 on Billboard's Hot 100. This sets a new record for the biggest jump to the top slot, besting Maroon 5's record-setting 63-spot jump for "Makes Me Wonder" back in May 2007.
T.I.'s track rocketed to No. 1 thanks to downloads, selling 205,000 copies in its first week in online stores. That gives "Whatever You Like" the biggest digital sales debut by a rap artist since Nielsen SoundScan started tracking downloads five years ago.
Well, Selena Gomez,There Are 63,360 Inches in a Mile
Disney star, Miley Cyrus frenemy and rumored Nick Jonas dater Selena Gomez just released her music video for “Tell Me Something I Don’t Know” from Another Cinderella Story.
Us Weekly probably summed it up best with the headline “Watch Selena Gomez Dance With a Mop.” Yep, that’s about all there is here. Well, that and a preview of Disney’s next big thing.
Whereas her BFF Demi Lavato looks like she’s trying hard to be a rock star in “Get Back” and there’s no question that Miley brings it (like Madonna!) in “7 Things,” Selena’s all “Hey! I’m cute and fun. Who wants to have a sleepover?! I’ll bring the tube of cookie dough!”
Needless to say, this video is way better than that rehash of “Our Lips Are Sealed” which Hilary Duff released with the first version of A Cinderella Story. But give these girls another six years and they could be in Hilary’s spot—watching a new crop of cute young'uns rise in fame while taking dad to court to foot a $25,000 21st-birthday-party bill. (Aw, poor Hil, we do miss you!)
What do you think? Better than Miles or just whatever?

Guns N' Roses Blogger Busted for Chinese Leaks
The FBI is gunning for the Guns N' Roses leaker.
A Los Angeles-area blogger who admittedly posted nine tracks in June from the forever-in-the-works Chinese Democracy album was arrested today on suspicion of violating federal copyright laws.
Jessica: Tony Romo the New Love of My Life
Jessica Simpson gets a cover story in the upcoming People dedicated to how in love the reinvented country star is at the moment. In fact, she’s so in love right now, she doesn’t journal in black notebooks anymore—she uses pink and white ones.
The interview was like any other chronicling her love life, because that's all this girl seems to be about. Divorcing Nick Lachey was sad times, dating John Mayer was weird and Tony Romo is currently perfect.
About this perfect man, she has this to declare: “I just told him today, ‘You’re the love of my life.’ ” Oof, last time she said that about someone, it ended one of MTV's greatest reality shows.
Jeremy Piven's Punk Rock Past
Jeremy Piven and punk rock?! Definitely not the most likely combo to come across our desks.
But when Piven was recently asked about his favorite moments in music fashion, he says it was the antiestablishment rock scene, particularly the Clash and the late Plasmatics frontwoman Wendy O. Williams (above).
"I remember seeing Wendy O. Williams with this shock of blonde hair with a Mohawk, and she came out on stage in a muscle car and took out a chainsaw and cut the car in half," Piven told Fashion Rocks during a photo shoot for the mag. "That had a lot of influence on me as an artist."
Jonas Brothers Wipe Out Staind
Forget OxyClean, it's the Jonas Brothers who have the real Staind-fighting power.
Staind was making a play to top the charts with The Progress of Illusion, thereby joining U2, Metallica and the Dave Matthews Band as the only modern rock bands to land four consecutive No. 1 albums. Instead, Staind got wiped out by the clean-cut Jonases.
The siblings' A Little Bit Longer sold 147,000 copies for the week ended Sunday, per Nielsen SoundScan, to hold their place at the top of the Billboard 200. In contrast, The Illusion of Progress sold just 92,000 copies at No. 3, trailing Kid Rock's Rock N Roll Jesus at No. 2 with 101,000 discs.
Samantha Ronson: Author?
Is Lindsay Lohan's closest companion about to pen a tell-all tome?
"Well, she's certainly telling friends she's planning to write a book," said a source close to club DJ and Lohan pal Samantha Ronson. "It's supposed to be about her, allegedly. But come on, you know Lindsay will be all over that book. She's the only one people want to read about."

How Long Can You Sweat It Out With Heidi Montag?
UPDATE: Turns out we were right. Due to technical difficulities, this isn't quite the breathtaking work of art Heidi had envisioned. Heids just released this statement: "I apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced when trying to view or download my 'Overdosin' video. We have experienced an error and are working to correct it as soon as possible." We're sure the real music video will blow us all away.
————————————
The highly anticipated music video for Heidi Montag's "Overdosin' " is finally here. But it doesn't look quite right. And not just because it features Heidi Montag, but because it's 10 minutes of slow-mo aerobics. Could this really be the masterpiece Heidi intended?
We actually thought this video was going to be a little bit better than “Higher.” At least, the pictures all indicated a higher production value. And yet we couldn’t make it through the whole thing, so we can’t even promise some big payoff at the end (we suspect there’s none). If you do happen to make it all the way through, let us know if it was worth it, and if you don't, let us know how far you got.
In case you miss Heidi’s manic arm waves as much as we do, we’ve included the classic “Higher” after the jump for your convenience. It’s actually kind of refreshing to watch it after “Overdosin’ ”—brings back the good times.

Meaning, no more of that "presumptive nominee" stuff.
